Facilities, Health Factors, Practicalities
Each of the cottages we use in our Himalayan retreats has an attached bathroom and is situated for optimum privacy, divided by gardens and pathways. For our Ganges retreats, we also use individual rooms with attached bathrooms in most of the rooms. For our Varanasi retreats there are individual rooms but bathrooms and toilets are shared.
Himalayan Retreats
There is a large, indoor dining room with comfortable, floor cushions and seating areas where you can relax and meet other group members. Included in the dining room area is also a little shop where you can purchase natural toiletries, handmade notebooks, snacks and useful items in general. Behind the dining room and kitchen is the outdoor dining/seating area with wooden tables and chairs.
On a lower, concealed level, with spectacular views across numerous valleys and the inner glaciers, is a large, semi-circular group room with floor cushions and a central puja fire. We use this area for meditation, group processing and Arti.
